Georgia has received a credit from the International Development Association (IDA) toward the cost of Energy Transit Institution Building Project, and intends to apply part of the credit proceeds to payments under a contract for supply of oil spill equipment for the Ministry of Environment of Georgia, Maritime Administration Department of Georgia and the Georgian Railway (contract No. ICB-4).

Georgian Institution Building Development Projects Implementation Unit now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the contract described above and comprising the following lots:

The bidders must bid for the complete contract as described in this Invitation.

Bidding will be conducted through the international competitive bidding procedures specified in the World Bank’s Guidelines:
Procurement under IBRD Loans and IDA Credits, and is open to all bidders from eligible source countries as defined in the Guidelines: Procurement under IBRD Loans and IDA Credits, January 1995 (revised January and August 1996, September 1997, and January 1999).

Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from the Georgian Institution Building Development Projects Implementation Unit and inspect the bidding documents at the address of the PIU below from 1200 to 1700 hours.

A complete set of bidding documents in English may be purchased by interested bidders on the submission of a written application to the address below and upon payment of a nonrefundable fee of GEL 200. Bidders can bid for one or more then one lots. The method of payment will be bank transfer to the following account:

The bidder shall indicate that the tender fee is for Institutional Building Development Projects Implementation Unit under Energy Transit Institution Building Project. Upon request, the bid document will be sent by TNT courier at the bidder’s expense.

Bids must be delivered to the address below not later than 1200 hours on 15 June 2007, and accompanied by a bid security of GEL 18,000 or equivalent for Lot 1; and of GEL 3,500 or its equivalent for Lot 2. Late bids will be rejected. They will be opened immediately thereafter, in the presence of the bidders’ representatives who choose to attend, at the same address.

The Kyrgyz Republic (represented by the State Committee of the Kyrgyz Republic on State Property) has received a credit from the International Development Association toward the cost of the Technical Assistance Credit, and it intends to apply part of the proceeds of this credit to payments under the contract for the supply of consumer gas meters G-1,6 type in amount of 4,000 units and G-4 type in amount of 2,000 units.

The Project Implementation Unit (PIU) of the Technical Assistance Credit under the State Committee of the Kyrgyz Republic on State Property now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the supply and delivery of consumer gas meters.

Bidding will be conducted through the international competitive bidding procedures specified in the World Bank’s Guidelines:
Procurement under IBRD Loans and IDA Credits January 1995 (revised January and August 1996, September 1997, January 1999), and is open to all bidders from eligible source countries as defined in the Guidelines.

Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from and inspect the bidding documents at the Project Implementation Unit at the address below from 0830 to 1730 hours (local time), Monday through Friday, except public holidays.

A complete set of bidding documents in English may be purchased by interested bidders on the submission of a written application to the address below and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of US$ 100 or an equivalent amount in a freely convertible currency. Payment shall be made to the following account:
